First I decided to look for some Inspiration on actual websites.

I decided to do some research on some existing bicycle websites to give me some inspiration on my own app design.

Colour palletes
I wanted to have a better idea of what colour palette I would go for so I decided to go onto adobe colour and play around.

Experimenting
I started experimenting with photos. I wanted to see what type of effects I could get since wheels are very symmetrical shapes.

Here I tried to experiment with some asymmetrical layouts.
I then started playing around with some symmetrical ideas.

After playing around for a bit I felt like none of my designs really looked professional. So I decided to go back to my research and looked at more designs and noticed a lot of them had included shadows in their designs so I started to include shadows in my designs too.

I had been doing a lot of experimenting with contrasting colours so I wanted to try and play with harmonious colours.
