For this task we were put into groups and were given a nursery rhyme to turn into a comic. This was our first task since starting the university so I was very excited to start and already had so many ideas. As a group we met up at spoons to share our ideas and decided to go with a very dark theme. We then attempted to split roles between the group which personally I thought was quite difficult as in our group we had two graphic designers and only two illustrators. Eventually we decided that Hannah and John would do 3 pages for the comic and Luke would do the cover and I would add the text and finishing touches. I learnt a lot from this project on how important it is to communicate as a group. I felt quite a bit stressed by the end of this project as some of the pages hadn't been sent to me to add text to so I had very little time to actually finish my part of the comic. If I were to do a project like this again I think I would definitely make sure that as a group we had our own deadlines such as deadlines for finishing the drawings so that the project will be completely finished on time and uploaded.     One of my tasks was scanning Hannahs illustration onto the computer and then editing it on photoshop to give it a more professional look. I then started to put all the pages together including the cover and started to add text. I had to do a lot of research on this before I started adding the text as I didn't really know the rules behind the boxes around speech in comics so I went on LinkedIn learning and watched some videos on comic design. I sent a few different fonts to the group so we could decide which one we all felt fit with the comic and as a group we finally decided on one. The people in my group are very talented so I believe we did end up with a very successful comic and I was very happy with the results even though I thought the process was quite stressful.
