Psoriasis
My mum suffers with psoriasis so I want to do an infographic to educate people on what it is as my mum believes there's not a lot of information out there. Therefore, I have done some research to increase my knowledge.

Typography
I really wanted to use a condensed sans serif typeface for my infographic as I felt it would match the style I am going with since I am educating people one a subject and I am going for a very simplistic style. I am leaning towards the din condensed typeface.

Music
Since my infographic is going to be a video I wanted to have music in the background. I decided to go look on adobe stock for some free music to use for my video.
This was my favourite one I found as I felt the beat went well with the theme of my infographic.
However, when I started making my infographic the previous beat didn't feel like the right one so I changed it to this one instead.
Vectors
I started looking for imagery for my video as I wanted to make sure I have all the stuff I need more I start putting my video together. I experimented with the outline stroke colours to see if adding a stroke would make the vectors look more interesting.
I used the heads of the humans to create the dots which I want to include in the infographic. Again I looked at the strokes but I also looked at the size of the dots.

I also wanted heart vectors. I experimented again with the strokes.
I had a scene planned where I wanted the psoriasis to look like a world map. I got a vector of a map and started experimenting what it would look like on a human.
Digital thumbnails
I started playing around with my intro just to make sure the colour palette was correct.
I put my design on after affects and started playing around with the movement of my circles. Right now I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this movement or keep them still or even make the circles move using the beat in the background music.
The more I was working on this idea the more I was disliking the colour palette so I started to explore that idea again. I definitely think the darker background is the way to go as it makes it stand out much more and my eyes don't get bored while looking.

At first I tried to introduce the text by making the dot come from off the screen below is a video of that result.
However, I preferred this idea with the dot coming from the other dots and bouncing to introduce the next piece of text. In these videos I still haven't chosen the final typography style as I wanted to make sure I got the animation correct first. m
Animation
I wanted to show the different types of psoriasis so I thought id show this through a timeline like animation. Right now I'm still just trying to get the animation right before I play around with my typography as I think the animation will affect what the typography will look like in the end. I think this part still looks quite plain and I might end up adding more dots to it later on.
Introduction to symptoms
My main idea is to make dots appear and then move to form each symptom depending on the beat of the music. first I started on illustrator working out the shapes ill be using for the animation which you can see below.
first I had to figure out what shape I wanted the dots to appear in. I felt like a circle was more fitting as I felt It would be too complicated if I just made the circles appear in random places on the screen. It might also affect the actual animation if they were just random.
I started with the animation of the circles moving into the symptoms to make sure I got that animation finished and now I just need to do some small details which ill finish later on.
